01 / Technical Overview

Know the platform.
Plan the system.

The DN series combines Class D amplification with an R-SMPS regulated supply and active power-factor correction. The catalog lists a 90–265 V supply requirement and a 1U chassis format.

“2 ×” describes two stereo channels at the stated load. Bridge mono uses both channels as one output; its load requirements differ from stereo operation. Review the speaker load, wiring and limiting with the product team.

The catalog lists protection against short circuit, open circuit, overheating, overload, DC and ultrasonic-frequency conditions. Request the current manual and model-specific testing information for your evaluation.

Specifications transcribed from the supplied DN catalog, DN 2 CHANNEL / printed page 01. DN218 is the current product name. Photographs may show earlier panel markings. Confirm the current configuration before ordering.

03 / Application Planning

Where DN218
fits your system.

Application guidance for product selection and system discussions.

01 / LINE ARRAY

Compact amplification racks

Review the DN platform for line-array amplification where rack space and transport weight matter. Match the channel power and impedance to the actual loudspeaker sections and processor settings.

02 / INSTALLATION

Theatres & fixed venues

A compact two-channel platform for professional installed sound. Discuss channel count, loudspeaker zoning, ventilation and AC supply with the project team.

03 / MOBILE SYSTEMS

Touring & rental racks

The catalog lists 6.5 kg net weight and a 1U format for DN-218. Consider the complete rack, cabling, protection settings and mains requirements when planning a mobile system.
